Yuxiao Wang, PhD

Dr Wang is one of the cofounders of Create Medicines and currently serves as our Vice President of Discovery Research. Prior to founding Create Medicines, Dr Wang was a postdoctoral fellow at Prof Ron Vale’s laboratory at UC San Francisco.

Dr Wang received his doctorate degree under the supervision of Prof Xuewu Zhang (UT Southwestern Medical Center). During his academic career, Dr Wang published several papers on transmembrane receptor signaling, T cell signal transduction, and membrane trafficking. He has received the Jane Coffin Childs Fellowship Award (2014) and the UCSF Independent Research Award (2017).
