Jian Ding, PhD

Dr Ding joined Create Medicines in May 2023 as Vice President, Translational Research. Previously, he served as the Vice President of Product Development at a start-up biotechnology company, where he drove the development of its proprietary platform. Prior to that, he was Senior Director of Immunology at TCR2 Therapeutics, where he led multidisciplinary teams focused on binder discovery, lead nomination, and IND enabling activities, contributing to the development of the proprietary TRuC^®-T cell platform from concept to first-cleared IND (TC-210 program).

Dr Ding began his biotech career at Biogen working on early discovery work in the field of autoimmune diseases. Dr Ding received his PhD from Tsinghua University in China (2005) and completed his postdoctoral fellowship in infectious diseases.
